I am a happy and healthy person in mind and body and looking for the same in my new friends I might meet here. Happily divorced for quite a while now and I have four really exquisite grown children. They all love each other with no drama so I'm proud to say I had a hand in that.
I work in the dental field which I returned to about a year ago. I studied interior design and worked in a couple of different showrooms for about three years but with the economy in such a mess and not a whole lot of new construction or remodeling going on it was necessary for me to move on. I was lucky to have had something to fall back on.
I don't have a whole lot of hobbies or interests outside of work and my kids but I am up for new things!!! That last sentence makes me sound kind of boring...but I can assure you that I am not! I do like cooking & dining, music & dancing, movies, and travel (which I don't do enough of but would like to). I love to ride but I'm a girl with no Harley to get on the back of right now. Not that it's necessary for someone to have a bike for me to be interested in them. Non-Harley riders please apply too!5eh3 This spring I plan to explore the great hiking that CA has to offer.
I decided to take the leap to the online world of social networking because I am ready to meet new people and have some new adventures. I am looking for the right person to share my life with but until that happens dating and enjoying each others company is good too. With that said I tend to take things pretty slow. As much as being alone sucks I think being with someone for the wrong reasons sucks more.
First date??? Does this mean a first meeting or a real first date with someone I'm interested in getting to know better? Well... a first meeting is going to be casual, short and sweet just in case one of us is not feeling any chemistry. Let's face it...it happens and it's uncomfortable! Coffee or a drink is probably in order. A real first date is a whole other story. I'm totally open to anything that allows us to get to know each other better...whatever that may be.

Spend as much time with my kids as I can and make sure I'm there to make make their life a little easier. Being a grandmother someday in the not to distant future.
